• Becoming Scotland's northernmost mainland whisky producing distillery when it released its first single malt in March 2016, Wolfburn is built just 350m away from the ruins of the 19th century distillery from which it takes its name. With long fermentation, slow manual distillation and maturation taking place at least partly in quarter casks that previously held peated whisky from Islay, this is a release we've eagerly anticipated!
  • A late 2017 addition to Wolfburn's core range, Morven is a lightly peated single malt from the northernmost distillery in mainland Scotland. This expression rounds out the distillery's range well (which also features their signature Northland Single Malt and the handsomely Sherried Aurora Single Malt) and shows that the relatively new distillery has plenty to offer already.
  • Wolfburn Aurora is matured in three different types of cask: refill quarter casks, first-fill bourbon barrels and first-fill oloroso sherry hogsheads. The three components are married to produce a sweet whisky with hints of spice.
  • Launched in 2017, this limited release of Timorous Beastie from Douglas Laing has been aged for 18 years. Gently spicy with notes of dark fruit, honey, and vanilla.
  • A specialist small batch bottling, Timorous Beastie has been created using only the finest Highland Malts including Dalmore, Glengoyne and Glen Garioch. The name Timorous Beastie comes from Robert Burns' famous Scots poem 'To a Mouse'; in which it is immortalised as a timid little field mouse. However this Timorous Beastie is certainly not for the fainthearted!
  • The Macallan Rare Cask single malt Scotch whisky was introduced to the UK in mid 2015, after being launched in the US in late 2014. It's comprised of whiskies drawn from 16 different Sherry cask styles, chosen by Macallan's Master Whisky Maker Bob Dalgarno. A high proportion of these casks are first fill, and has resulted in a rich, spicy Speyside single malt, bursting with honey'd raisin, root ginger and decadent chocolate notes.
  • The Macallan Fine Oak 15 Years Old forms part of the Fine Oak range and is matured for a minimum of fifteen years in three exceptional oak cask types. This complex combination of casks delivers a rich flavour profile with notes of chocolate, dried fruits and cinnamon.
  • The 12 year old expression from The Macallan Fine Oak Range, matured in a selection of American and European oak casks seasoned with Sherry, as well as American oak casks seasoned with bourbon.
  • Brand new to our shores is the latest release from Macallan, first launched in overseas markets in 2016. Matured exclusively in ex-sherry casks, both European and American oak. Naturally coloured and bottled at 43%.
  • The latest Glenlivet takes it's place as the entry expression in the range, and is set to totally replace the 12yo in SA over the next 1-2 years (as it has in the UK since it's release in early 2015).
  • This excellent 18 year old single malt from Glenlivet is a classic Speyside dram, it also won two golds at the International Wine and Spirits Competition.
